This holy book is the first letter Paul wrote to the believers living in the city of Corinth in Greece. He had already preached there during his second journey. Many people had believed in Jesus, but they were failing in their conduct. There were disagreements among some, others were committing sexually immoral acts, and still others boasted about themselves to other believers. All this only causes shame amongst religious people.
But the apostle Paul understood that any human being can fall into Satan's trap, which is why he dealt with them firmly, in order to strengthen their faith in the ways of God. He wrote them a letter giving them good advice, given to him through the instruction of God’s Holy Spirit. This is why Paul's teachings have become true holy books for all believers.
We can gain great wisdom from this book; wisdom that will help us clearly understand God's way. May God help us to understand this teaching and use it as a model for our conduct. Amen!
