2 John

The apostle John wrote this second letter to members of a community of believers who loved the truth. At that time, a false teaching had spread claiming that Jesus did not come into the world in human form. The apostle John instructs believers to refuse to accept people who spread such teachings.

This letter teaches all believers that love is the sign of those who know God. God wants us to be people who love one another. If anyone refuses to practice this principle to love others then neither do they love God. May God help us to have love in our hearts. Amen!
