The holy book called ‘The Gospel of Jesus’ contains four holy books. Under the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit, four apostles wrote down the accounts called the Gospel of Jesus. They are: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

The accounts of the Gospel of Jesus written by Matthew, Mark, and Luke are closely related. The writings of these three disciples are accounts that tell us how Jesus was born, how he spent his life on earth, and his death and resurrection. The account of the Gospel of Jesus written by John certainly tells us the story of Jesus, but it is his preaching that stands out most. John provides information about the person of Jesus so that people may know that Jesus is truly the Messiah who God has sent.

The apostle John calls all humanity to believe in Jesus, to have faith in him. This is salvation for everyone, a salvation that lasts forever. In this holy book, the apostle John encourages people not to doubt God's promises. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice that redeems human beings. May we know this and believe!

The story of the Gospel of Jesus, written by John, aims to make us understand the place that Jesus occupies in our world. He uses many parables to explain this, such as: Jesus is the ‘light of the world,’ he is the ‘good shepherd’ for believers. He is like the ‘door’ and the ‘way,’ he is like ‘water’ and ‘bread’ for human beings. Jesus is of great benefit to human beings.

May God help us to know this, so that Jesus may find his place in our hearts. Amen!
