Jude wrote this letter to people who loved God. It is a holy book for anyone who wants to follow God's laws. People had infiltrated the community of believers to whom Jude wrote this letter in order to twist God's word to suit themselves. The behaviour of these wicked people had become a huge challenge for these Christians. Some Christians had followed their false teachings.
Because of this, Jude speaks sternly to these Christians. He advises believers not to live impure lives. He clearly tells them that hell will be the lot of such people. In times past, many people who followed God's way turned away from his laws. This became a source of tremendous suffering for them. The apostle Jude did not want such things to happen to believers.
Let us listen to this advice too. There are many people in the world who speak about God but do not obey his laws. This is why God left us his holy book so that we can weigh every teaching on the scales of this book, to see if the teaching is true or if it comes from the lies of Satan. May God protect us from these religious liars. Amen!
